FAQ
Questions worth answering early
Is this just another networking event?
No. The point is building: demos, feedback, and momentum. If you want business cards and small talk, you’ll be bored here—in the best way.
Do I need a startup or a polished project?
Absolutely not. Works-in-progress are the main character. Messy prototypes, weekend tools, and half-debugged hardware are welcome.
Who runs DevHouse HSV?
Locals who want Huntsville to have a serious builder room. It’s community-led by default: show up, contribute, help set the tone.
Is there a cost?
No—early meetups are free to attend. If we need to cover space or supplies, we’ll lean on venue partners, light sponsorship, and people pitching in before we charge at the door.
How do I pitch something or get on the agenda?
Join the Discord when it opens and raise your hand. We’ll keep early meetups intentionally simple so new voices can get stage time.
No one expects you to have it figured out.
